First day of shooting. The photographers group up and go on their quest. Focussing on industry, Andy, Atdhe and Christophe take their pictures at the Zeche Zollverein Essen, one of the largest coal mine industry complexes in Europe that was shut down in the 1990ies and has been declared to Cultural World Heritage.
The other participants explore the city of Bonn.
All photographers face the same problem: Except from the Christmas market there are almost no people on the streets.

what it's all about

9 photographers, coming from 7 different countries and 3 different continents make a roadtrip from Bonn to Berlin from November 27th till December 4th in order to work out their artistic interpretation on GTZ's spotlight theme of the year 2011: Green Economy.

Their works will be put together for a collective exhibition that will be displayed at various places next year.

The artists are free to visualize the topic in whatever personal way.

Yet, their passion for photography, the group discussions and the common goal of a successful and appealing exhibition creates a bond between the participants.

This blog will constantly be updated with new pictures and additional information.
